Be a Connecticut resident.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\nBuy a new electric bicycle that fulfills the following requirements:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n- Has a 750-watt highest power production motor (1 horsepower).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Is intended for use on a paved area.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- When propelled solely by the engine, it has a top speed of 20 miles per hour (i.e., not pedaling)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Is outfitted with functional wheels<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Isn’t classified as a car.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Is bought from a store in Connecticut.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- The bicycle must only be used for personal transit and not for business reasons.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
